New service: Multilingual website extraction and alignment

You found a bilingual website with lots of information that you wish to reuse for a translation project? Terminotix now offers a new service to help you leverage translations from online resources. Indicate “Website extraction” in the “Subject” line of your email. Our technical support team will extract the web files and align all pages with AlignFactory, our alignment tool. FREE Terminotix toolbar: additional resources now available!

In the December 2011 newsletter, Terminotix announced the addition of LogiTerm Web, WeBiText and Linguee to the free toolbar (that already included Termium and TransSearch), which allows users to launch queries directly from MS Word. We have further expanded the range of resources accessible through the toolbar to make your contextual and terminology search even easier. Here are the new resources:

The Human Rights Council opts for Terminotix

New training course you don’t want to miss! The Computer toolbox for language professionals

Terminotix has just launched a new training course specifically developed for language professionals who want to maximize the use of their computer environment in order to achieve new heights in terms of efficiency. This training course is aimed to all language professionals, Terminotix clients or not.

New application: Bilingual file splitter

Terminotix developed a small application to extract source and target texts from bilingual documents. The result is unilingual documents ready for alignment.
