What is new in 5.6

• In the Results Priority search option, the choice Most Recent Segments has been renamed Number of Occurrences. This option now ranks segments containing the highest number of occurrences of the searched term(s) first, with date as the second sorting criterion. Conversely, the new Most Recent Segments choice prioritizes only the date, ignoring the number of term occurrences when ranking results.
• You can now search by document in the Full Text database. This means that you can quickly find documents that contain the largest number of search term occurrences, unlike in previous versions, which searched within segments rather than full documents.
• The pretranslation mode, Project Analysis, now displays a ranking of documents to be translated. This ranking shows the order in which you should translate the documents within a project for maximum efficiency.

Upcoming in 5.7

• A new search option for the Bitexts database, Translation Spotting (currently in Beta), will highlight the translated equivalents of the search terms.
• The number of external search tabs (Termium, GDT, TransSearch, etc.) will grow from 6 to 40.

This tool is extremely handy, allowing you to launch searches to your favorite resources with a simple keyboard shortcut.
