What’s new

  • You can now edit bitexts in the Management tab. Get two tasks done in a single step!

  • Need to know the context while translating a document? You can now access reference bitexts (when available) in a single click in the LogiTrans Matches tool.

  • The LogiTrans Wizard now saves the last pretranslation settings used. Once you have selected your files, if the preselected settings are right for your project, you can go to the main LogiTrans window, or directly to the Wizard.
  • OneDrive and SharePoint integration: These two Microsoft products are used for file storage, collaboration and document management.

  • Addition of an alignment quality checker. The checker can display various errors according to your settings. It offers filtering by format, words, punctuation, dates, etc. You can also:
    • Display only segments with errors
    • Create lists of false friends
    • Create lists of words that shouldn’t appear in the bitext
    • Suggest corrections for segments with errors

  • Bilingual web browser: This new tool lets you browse a website in the two languages of your choice, scrolling through both side by side. Have a contract with a new client? Why not go to its website and see its terminology in context?

  • The tool also lets you download the two web pages before you to create a bitext, which you can use to add to your bitext database, to extract terminology, or as a pretranslation reference document.

Upcoming enhancement: MFA—Multifactor authentication

Multifactor authentication (MFA) is a security measure that requires multiple authentication methods to verify the identity of a user during logins or transactions. The goal of MFA is to create multiple layers of protection, making it harder for unauthorized persons to access a target such as a digital device, a network or a database.
