LogiTerm Web (not LogiTerm Pro) now enables you to easily manage terminology records in batch with the new terminology records basket! This basket enables you to temporarily store terminology records in order to move, delete or export them in batch. Terminologists will like this new feature!
A client sends you an Excel, PPT, Visio or any type of document other than MS Word to translate and, two days later, he sends you an update of the same document without telling you where the modifications are... sounds familiar? Ever thought of using the LogiTerm bitext?
In LogiTerm or AlignFactory, you can create a bitext using both the old version and the new version of a document. Language selections do not matter in this specific case. In the alignment options page, make sure to enable Segment Filtering, and on the next page, select only the filter Reject if both sides are the same – Exactly the same. The resulting bitext will contain only the segments that have changed between the two versions!
