Bitexts are the building blocks of LogiTerm Web. They are created when a document in a source language, such as English, is aligned with its translation in a target language, such as French. The two documents are segmented by sentence to form the bitext.
LogiTerm’s align text portions function lets you use snippets of source and target text to quickly create a new bitext on the fly. Alternatively, you can add the aligned text portion to an existing bitext.
You may be wondering, why is this useful? Well, it lets you:

In November, we attended AsLing’s 45th Translating and the Computer conference. Our experience taught us that one thing is certain: the more things change, the more they stay the same!
After many workshops, talks, round tables and articles, the takeaway is this: terminology is still the name of the game in the language industry. This is also true when it comes to cutting-edge technology like neural machine translation (NMT) engines, large language models (LLMs) and artificial intelligence (AI).
Hugging Face Transformers is among these innovations. It is an open-source library for natural language processing (NLP) developed by Hugging Face, a company that specializes in deep learning and NLP. Transformers support tasks such as translation, text classification, named entity recognition, and question answering.
Transformers can be installed and trained on premise using the corpuses and glossaries you have created with LogiTerm and/or SynchroTerm.
We are currently in the process of implementing:
